CAMI IS RETIRING

Cami-3We would like to announce that our beloved fiddle player Cami Smith will be retiring from Lexington Field.  Her last show with the band will be on St. Patrick’s Day at the 2014 HooleyFest event in La Mesa.  After thousands of hours playing American Fiddle Rock, Cami decided it was time to focus on her career in music therapy and go to graduate school.   It has been an honor for us to have her in the band and she will be greatly missed.   She now gets to concentrate on her true passion of helping people.  We have so many wonderful memories with Cami, including the hundreds of shows, the national tours, all the practice time, and most of all, writing this unique music.  Cami put the “Fiddle” in American Fiddle Rock and made an impact in the San Diego music scene, as well as the Celtic Rock community around the world.  We wish her nothing but love and respect as she moves forward to the next chapter in her career.

Thank you Cami for putting your heart and soul into the band, you are a special talent and a true friend.  We love you.
