2012 Midwest Missile Tour Breakdown: Part Four

This is it! We leave this week for our 2012 Midwest Missile Tour!!! Here is the final part of our breakdown of the tour.  After our stay in Minnesota, Bryan hops on a plane back home as Beau, Cami, Casey, and Vince continue on the last leg of the tour.  Bryan will join the rest of the band in San Francisco for the tour finale at Hotel Utah.  So we travel across the great northern country from Montana to Washington…the conclusion of our first national tour!

TUESDAY, AUGUST 21 – MISSOULA, MT – SUNRISE SALOON
We get an off day on Monday where we will be traveling from Bismarck, ND to Billings, MT.  We were going to play Bones Brewing in Billings, one of the first shows on teh schedule,  but things changed on us and we had to cancel the show.  No worries, we are gonna stop by there on Monday for a beer.  Finding a Tuesday night show in Missoula turned out to be a hard task.  But, we found this cool country-esque venue called the Sunrise Saloon.  We are gonna show the country crowd some American Fiddle Rock!

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 22 – SPOKANE, WACARR’S CORNER
Hello Pacific Northwest!  Our first ever trip to the northwest and we were lucky to find a cool bar called Carr’s Corner to play on a Wednesday night.  Not too big, not too small, good drinks, and good music.  We also will be playing with Spokane rockers Wolves in the Woods, a great name for a band from the Northwest!

THURSDAY, AUGUST 23 – SEATTLE, WA – HIGH DIVE
Our show at the High Dive was one of the first shows we booked for the tour.   With help from Cormac and his band The Bog Hoppers we were able to secure a rad Seattle venue called the High Dive.  Also, we got the Americana rockers from Tacoma, The Fun Police to play too.  My goal will be to have a bowl of Pacific Clam Chowder, some good beer, and play one hell of a show!

FRIDAY, AUGUST 24 – SILVERTON, OR – MAC’S PLACE
So we mentioned earlier that Milwaukee was a pain in the ass to find a show on a Saturday night, well the state of Oregon gave them a run for their money!   At the end of the search we got super lucky and found this watering hole in the town of Silverton, a town northeast of Salem.   Back in my Troy’s Bucket days I wrote a song called “Sleepless in Silverton” so it’s only fitting that many years later we make a tour stop in Silverton…and it will definitely be a “sleepless” night because we hit the road right after the show for San Francisco and the tour finale!

SATURDAY, AUGUST 25 – SAN FRANCISCO, CA – HOTEL UTAH
The last day of the tour arrives!  Bryan flies into town in the morning to meet us for our tour finale at Hotel Utah!  Many of our friends and family are coming up to the show to celebrate with us.  A barefoot-punk-grass group called The Dirt Floor Band will be joining us on the stage.  And to close it out at the historic Hotel Utah we couldn’t be happier!  With help from Vince’s aunt Kat and Guy from Cafe DuNord, we were able to get hooked up with Keith over at Hotel Utah and set this show up!  We will be tired, but we will show San Francisco true American Fiddle Rock and close out the 2012 Midwest Missile Tour with a bang!
