Are you wondering where Lexington Field has been?
No worries! We are around and preparing new music to bring to you. We have been working hard putting together new songs and revamping our current set list. This will be the set list of the year for Lexington Field because we have some great music to share. We’re adding a whole new slew of songs from Flogging Molly, The Young Dubliners, The Pogues, Dropkick Murphy’s, traditional Irish and fiddle tunes, and of course some amazing originals.
Since we are a diverse mixture of musicians, we can cover various genres of music and thoroughly enjoy bringing what we come up with to you. However, we are looking to expand our original song ideas. It can be a challenge coming up with ideas for new material. In fact, just last week after practice, the band was discussing song ideas and seemed to hit a wall, so that is where YOU come in. What song ideas do you have? What song titles and lyrics do you want Lexington Field to use in their songs? What do you want to hear? We would love your feedback, suggestions, and ideas. This is where our fans have the opportunity to participate in our songwriting process. We will even give a shout out to you for your ideas!
